My name is Steven Madden and I help individuals and teens who are struggling with depression and anxiety get clarity on what they need to get better, and how to implement changes you want with the support you need so you can start to experience relief.
Steven’s Training and Qualifications
Whether it’s working with young people or parents, he brings a range of therapeutic techniques utilizing a range of effective counselling training and skills. Steven gets results with children using scientifically proven play therapy techniques, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for troubled teens and young adults.
He also uses motivational interviewing for youth and adults, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and addictions treatment approaches helping partners fix problems, increase communication and be happier with each other.
Steven values the uniqueness of each client he uses his wide range of skills to fit the specific needs of each young person or couple.
Steven has a master’s in social work with over 10 years of experience and passion for making children and adults in a family be mentally healthy and connected. His ultimate goal is to help you find healthier ways to live a happier life.
