Why We’re Here
to assist clients in making real and lasting change that provides connection and meaning.
What We Strive For
We support our team in being their best so that clients get the best care we can provide. That means we foster growth and well-being in our clients and our amazing team.
Given the right support, most people can overcome great hardship and pain. That starts with providing a safe and supportive environment that welcomes diversity and difference, a place that recognizes and embraces each other’s uniqueness and the experiences we have in common.
Many therapies focus on addressing negative experiences. We want therapy to be that and more. We want to help clients reduce negative experiences as much as we want to promote greater well-being for our clients and the clinicians who care for them.
What We’re About
Authenticity
An integral part of mental health treatment and wellness is authenticity. We are about encouraging this in our clients by living this ourselves. We support each other and show up the way we do in other areas of our lives. This facilitates transparency and open communication where we all feel safe to share our views and values. That doesn’t mean we agree on everything. It does mean we are open to differing views. This creates an environment where we all feel seen, heard and valued.
Owning Your Stuff
Look, no one is always at their best. Sometimes, we’re just having a lousy day, or say or do something we wish we hadn’t. We all make mistakes. Admitting mistakes and taking responsibility is what it means to own your stuff. Being cognizant of how our words or actions may have affected others and being receptive to feedback creates an opportunity to learn and promotes psychological flexibility. This allows people on our team to grow personally and professionally. It enables us to feel safe and supported, to be cheerleaders for each other.
Excellence-Oriented/Growth Mindset
We embrace a growth mindset. Being the best you can be as a clinician depends on the time and effort you put into learning. Being in a team environment that has a growth mindset encourages us to be our best as clinicians, not out of feeling pressure but out of excitement and motivation. Of course, we don’t expect each other to be perfect. That’s not what a growth mindset is. Rather, it’s about the joy of learning something new and seeing mistakes as an opportunity to discover what I can do differently. Growth is a process that ebbs and flows towards better versions of ourselves personally and as clinicians.
Genuine Relationships
We exist to serve the people in our community. Genuine connections form the foundation of every successful endeavour, whether it’s within our team, with our clients, or in serving the broader community. We prioritize open communication, empathy, and trust-building in all interactions, recognizing that solid relationships are built on mutual respect and understanding. By actively nurturing these connections, we cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment and unlock opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and shared growth.
We are located at 698 Corydon Avenue near cafes, coffee shops and boutiques, something both therapists and clients enjoy. Our agency is in a modern office building with lots of natural light, modern amenities and other details that add to a positive and comfortable workplace.
